Knight 0f Dragon did something many thought was nigh-on impossible, he figured out the compression of the text in Shining Force III’s game files. A programmer by trade, in early 2005 he developed the software that was the means to insert and replace the Japanese text with English text. Knight 0f Dragon also developed the process by which this was realized. An almost unbelievable success for Shining Force III fans everywhere.

legalize freedom! (Steve Simmons) joined the effort in May of 2006 and combined his organizational skills with the translation tools that had been developed. In short order, the project team grew and the efforts of many were being coordinated to maximize efficiency. legalize freedom! took a “whatever needs to be done” approach and learned all of the processes behind the tools and has been responsible for a large percentage of the work in most areas.
